The Thai Association Of University Women
The Thai Association of University Women (TAUW) was founded on January 16, 1948. On July 1948, the TAUW became an affiliate of the International Federation of University Women, upholding the same ideal and principles. One of the TAUW's first project was a Hostel Project which was established as a safe place to stay at a reasonable rental rate for female students.
Among its projects, it includes a day care centre, occupational training, home economics, agricultural trainings and practises iel. mushroom and basic agricultural farming, management and marketing skills, health service, literacy and primary health care training: workshop for primary school teachers in evaluation techniques, teach and quality of life development.
